Reis, Jones to Hold Town Hall Meeting on Medicare Reimbursement Crisis

Flora.….State Representative David Reis and State Senator John O. Jones will hold a public town hall meeting Wednesday regarding the state's failure to meet its growing Medicaid obligations:

•  6:30 pm, Wednesday. June 28th
•  Odd Fellows Building, 231 E. North Street, Flora

According to Representative Reis , the state will end the current fiscal year on June 30th with approximately $1.5 billion in unpaid Medicaid bills owed to our local nursing homes, health care facilities, pharmacies and others around the state.  

At the town hall meeting, Reis and Jones will discuss how much in overdue state payments is owed to our local facilities.   Local care providers will be on hand to share their individual stories about how they and their patients have been impacted.
